Daisy Mutlar was the woman that Landen Parke-Laine planned to marry after Thursday Next moved to London. They were supposed to marry shortly after she returned to Swindon, but their wedding was interrupted by Mr Briggs, the solicitor from Jane Eyre. It turned out that she was already married to Murray Posh.
In The Woman Who Died a Lot, it was revealed that after this, she went to work in a nunnery. Thursday met her there, and, apart from the times when Daisy tried to kill Thursday, they got along perfectly fine.
