Akrid Snell is a fictional lawyer from the Perkins and Snell Detective Agency series, who also worked for Jurisfiction. He defended Thursday Next in her trial for changing the ending of Jane Eyre. He didn't managed to get her off the charge, but he successfully got the punishment down to twenty years of her life in blue gingham and not dying until she'd read the ten most boring books. He worked closely with David Perkins, his co-lead in the series. He first appeared in Lost in a Good Book and was murdered with Mispeling Vyrus in The Well of Lost Plots.
